Sam, a 14-year old daughter of Tiger Woods, inducts him into the World Golf Hall of Fame.

TIGERWOODS wept after his daughter Sam inducted him into the World Golf Hall of Fame.

As he paid tribute for his family at Wednesday's Florida event, the 46-year-old legend putter was clearly emotional.

After her father was killed in a car accident, Sam paid tribute to him.

One year ago, the 15-time major champion was in a car accident that left him with a broken leg and multiple other injuries.

Woods was introduced to the stage by his 14-year-old daughter Sam. He couldn't hold back his tears as he was recognized for his incredible career.

Woods stated that if you don’t put in the work and go out there, you won’t get the results.

But two, and even more important, you don’t deserve it. It is up to you to earn it. That was how I was raised. This was the foundation of my career.

Daughter Sam said, "You are a fighter. You have defied all odds to be the first Asian and black golfer to win a major and to be able win your fifth Masters after back surgery and to be able walk again just a few months following your crash.

"Dad," I said to you, "I inducted" you into the Dad Hall of Game long ago. But today, I am proud to present Tiger Woods, my dad, into the World Golf Hall of Fame.

After his car flipped multiple times in a freak 85mph collision in California, Woods was forced to be removed from the vehicle. This happened 13 months ago.

Woods was lucky to avoid having his leg amputated.

He made a remarkable comeback to the tee, playing alongside his 12-year-old son Charlie at December's PNC Championship.

Woods, however, revealed last month that he would never be returning to full-time pro golf.

Woods stated: "Will you come back and play a full-time schedule?" No. This will not happen again.

"I can only play certain events, but not on a full-time basis, so that won't happen again."

"I wish that I could tell you when my game is over. I would love to. But I don’t.

"My golf activities have been very limited. Although I am able to putt and chip well, I haven’t taken up any serious long-term activities. I am still learning the walking part.

"I can do it by being in a cart. Walking on a golf course is a completely different experience. There is still a lot to do. It's frustrating that you don't heal as quickly at this age.

"To play six rounds of Golf, I don't have the ability to go out there." "I'm still trying to get there."
