LUKE DONALD will continue a strange Ryder Cup tradition by flying his winning Club Car from Italy to his home in Florida.
The former World No1, 45, captained Europe to glory in Rome last month as they claimed a 16.5-11.5 victory over USA.

Donald is set to have his club car flown over to his Florida home
Donald was pictured with the rest of the team, the Ryder Cup trophy, and his buggy on the night of their triumph at the Marco Simone Golf & Country Club.
And he is now set to follow in the footsteps of victorious captains since 2002.
More than two decades ago, Sam Torrance led Europe to Ryder Cup success at The Belfry and took his car home with him.
In 2018, the tradition was added to when players from the winning side began signing the cowl of the vehicle in gold marker.
And 2023’s signed buggy is now being shipped from Italy to America where Donald lives.
Speaking about the car, Donald said: “I’m humbled and grateful for this gift and for the words of my team-mates when they presented it to me.
“The Ryder Cup was one of the best weeks of my life, and it was an honour and a privilege to lead the team.
“The guys were immense and to have the car signed by all of them means a great deal.

“Every time I drive it at home I will remember their incredible performance which led to the epic celebrations in Italy.”
The buggy was transported by road to Hamburg in Germany and will now be shipped to Florida.
The cowl of the car was removed and will be shipped separately to avoid damage.
