TIGER WOODS has dropped to a career-low ranking amid his injury struggles.
The 15-time major winner, 47, has not competed since April when he withdrew from the Masters in the third round.
Tiger Woods’ career ranking is lower than its ever been
And that inactivity has seen him slip to 1,307th in the Official World Golf Rankings published on Monday.
It eclipses his previous lowest ranking – which came nine months ago when he was named 1,294th.
A T-45 finish at the Genesis Invitational had seen him return to the top 1,000 prior to the Masters.
But he has now fallen down the rankings again following a seven-month hiatus.
Woods has been plagued by injuries in recent years – some of which came about as a result of his car crash in 2021.
His latest fitness issue was a problem with his right ankle.
And while that has now been sorted, he recently claimed he is a way off a return to golf.
Speaking to the Associated Press, he said: “My ankle is fine. Where they fused my ankle, I have absolutely zero issue whatsoever. That pain is completely gone.

“But all the surrounding areas is where I had all my problems and I still do.
“So, you fix one, others have to become more hypermobile to get around it, and it can lead to some issues.”
Woods is widely regarded as one of the greatest ever golfers, winning 14 majors between 1997 and 2007.
He then returned to claim a fifth Masters title in 2019.
He holds the record for the most weeks as World No1 – 683 – and spent more than five years as the top ranked player between June 2005 and October 2010.
