Six years ago, TPC Scottsdale saw the creation of a robot named after the champion 15-time major.

LDRIC - in homage Woods' seldom-used first name Eldrick – made the shot on the rowdy 16th.

The par-3 is known for the raucous crowd of 20,000 beer-loving fans that surround it.

Woods made a stunning hole-in-one at the same hole in 1997.

This was his first season as an professional, and the crowd loved the new kid on block.

Now, fast forward 19 years and fans were just as wild as the pinpoint robot that sank the shot.

Gene Parente, owner of Golf Laboratories Inc., created LDRIC.

Its name is Launch Directional Robot Intelligent Circuitry.

According to reports, the robot was used in the golf industry for testing new clubs. It made an impressive 163-yard ace with astonishing accuracy.
