GOLFERS IN FLORIDA were stunned when an alligator strolled along the course carrying its lunch.

There are many videos online of alligators playing on golf courses.

It's not common for them to bring their food along with them, as the Tara Golf and Country Club in Bradenton Florida recently demonstrated.

Shocked golfers watched as the beast casually walked along the fairway, holding a large fish in its mouth.

After catching the fish, Larry seemed as happy as Larry as the gator as it made its way into a pool.

Mike Murray, a golfer, captured the moment when the animal casually strolled between the golfers and shared the video on social networks.

And shocked viewers quickly commented, one saying, "He's just helping a buddy get his swim on. Expand his horizons. Social network."

Another stated, "Looks like it knew the exact directions to the pond."

Another said, "That gator isn't big enough for play."

One commented: "Random guy walking past gator like: 'Yeah. This is just a normal danger on the green. There's nothing unusual here.

Another voiced his opinion: "That little man is just a baby!" Keep it moving and push that thing along.

The viral video was similarly shocking to viewers, with one viewer stating: "Godzilla Lives in Naples!"

Another person said, "That's as large as a dinosaur!"

Alligators are more comfortable taking a stroll in the sun because of the unusually warm Florida winter.

With winter coming to an abrupt halt in March, we will likely see many more gators on the fairways.
