Woods broke an 11-year drought to win his fifth Green Jacket. He had to overcome severe injuries and personal demons.

When will Tiger Woods return to golf?

Woods is currently absent from the course, and has not been seen at Major tournaments since 2020.

Woods broke his right leg in a car accident on Hawthorne Boulevard, Los Angeles in February 2021.

He was traveling at nearly twice the speed limit at 87mph when he lost control and crashed into a tree in Los Angeles.

Woods required immediate surgery after breaking his fibula and tibia. Many were concerned that Woods' golf days would be over.

Tiger Tiger has not played pro golf since his accident and there is no timeline for him to do so.

He showed great promise, and clearly had most his mobility back as Charlie finished second in the 2021 PNC Championship.

This competition saw a 36-hole match between 36-hole champions from the past and their children or parents.

Tiger, 13-year-old Tiger, and Charlie, 13, wore matching red outfits to pay homage to Woods' legendary tradition.

Woods Jr. and his father hit a tournament record ELEVEN birdsies in a row on day three to make it a remarkable -15 round of 62.

Tiger has now said no to a full-time return to golf with the demanding schedule it brings.

He has instead indicated that he will pick and choose his tournaments once he feels ready to return competitive action.

On February 16, he told reporters: "Will you come back to play a full-time schedule?" No. This will not happen again.

"I can only play certain events, but not on a full-time basis, so that won't happen again."

"I wish that I could tell you when my game is over."

"I want to find out. But I don’t. Golf activity has been very restricted. Although I am able to putt and chip well, I haven’t taken up any serious long-term activities. I am still learning the walking part.

Was he involved in the Genesis Invitational?

Fans of golf were thrilled to see Tiger back at California's Genesis Invitational.

He wasn't on the course, but the great golfer was at the microphone.

Tiger hosted the Riviera Country Club's players, met and greeted sponsors, and addressed the media.
