DeChambeau stated then: "I consider it a par67 for me, because I can reach all par fives in just two.

"If conditions remain the same, I feel that par is for them."

29-year-old former pro Paige said that "Saying the par at Augusta had 67 was so discourteous."

She has previously criticized DeChambeau for her power-hitting foibles: "I get so many joy watching the best hit hacker shots in the world just like us."

She once wrote that he "deservedly gets a lot s ***'.."

Spiranac praised Spiranac's role in America's defeat of Europe at the Ryder Cup last season.

She also stated: "I know that a lot people think I'm a Bryson hater, but I am not.

"I had some words to say about Bryson while he was acting up. Being a little bit a jerk. I called him out on it. But since then, I haven’t had a problem dealing with Bryson.

"He is fun and easy to talk about.

"It's all good fun and maybe I've crossed a line here or there but I tried to keep it funny."
