Woods had a black sleeve covering most of his right leg while his left leg was unaffected.

Woods is seen playing golf with his son, Erica, and these are his first photos without crutches since the February 23rd car accident.

Golf legend, Gary Player, suffered serious injuries to his right leg. This most likely explains why he had multiple surgeries.

A rod was even needed in one American's leg after a surgery.

Aufgrund of the severity of the accident, it is still not clear if Woods will return to the PGA Tour.

Steve Stricker, Team USA's Ryder Cup skipper, did provide a positive update hinting that he might return to the course as a 15-time major champion winner.

SiriusXM Radio's Stricker said: "I've spoken to Tiger a lot.

He's still a member of the Ryder Cup family but he will not be able be a captain’s assistant this year due to his ongoing rehabilitation to improve and play again golf. That is going well.

"He is making progress, he's doing well. Things are moving in the right direction."
