At the 1995 Memorial Tournament, Jack Nicklaus hosted, the 2003 US Open Champion met his wife.

Furyk recalled how he entered her life.

"I was shy about talking to her.

"Then Ray (Tabitha’s Boss), came up to me and interviewed me. While he was interviewing, I kind of set myself up so that I could continue checking out her.

"And Ray noticed. He's the one who ended up kinda introducing us and getting started."

What year did Tabitha Furyk marry Jim Furyk?

Furyk proposed to Furyk at the 2000 US Open at Pebble Beach.

He did an excellent job on this course in California's Monterey Peninsula.

They were married later in the year.

Tabitha spoke out about the proposal and said that "Going back every year to Pebble Beach is truly a special occasion."
