Stewart Cink, a veteran golfer, sends Masters crowd WILD with his incredible hole-in one on Augusta's 16th green

STEWART CINK made history by scoring the 16th hole at Augusta's Masters to make it the first hole in one of the 2022 Masters.

Although the 48-year-old American wasn't able to share much over the past two days, he did it with an amazing ace.

As Cink's backspin began to kick in, the excitement grew steadily and the ball slowly made its way towards the hole.

The 2009 Open winner had a perfect shot line, with the ball moving down the slope with laser precision.

Cink made the occasion even more special by celebrating the hole-in one with his son Reagan. Reagan was caddying for the veteran golfer.

Cink's amazing effort is not likely to be repeated, however. He finished third at the Masters in 2008, his best finish ever.

After his ace, he bogeyed the next hole and ended his round at seven over par. He played 36 holes.

He seems to be destined not to make the cut for this weekend's game, currently at +4.
