PIERS MORGAN called out Ryder Cup star Justin Thomas and Daniel Berger, after they had downed cans before the first Tee on Saturday afternoon.
Thomas and Berger were both 28 years old, and they were playing in Saturday fourball. Team USA had a 9-3 lead at that time.

USA also secured a point with Daniel Berger in Friday's foursomes along Brooks Koepka
The pair were surrounded by a cheering home crowd, clearly certain of victory.
The excitement was amplified when the golfers saw the people drinking from cans of beer.
Thomas and Berger each picked up a can, and acknowledged the crowd with raised fists before they began to eat the contents.
Thomas even got down on one knee and slammed his can on the grass after he was done.
This sparked huge roars that only grew louder as the players tried to get them up even more.
Morgan responded to Twitter with chants of "USA!USA!USA!"

He replied, "Hmmm. You cocky American beer-guzzlers, it ain't over yet. "Come on Team Europe, make them choke!"
American Captain Steve Stricker however, has defended Thomas's 'fratboy' antics.
Europe was furious at the disrespectful attitude of the American players. They were acting as though the match was over, given America's lead.
Padraig Harrington, his players and coaches kept their mouths shut about the incident to avoid any claims of it being a misunderstanding. They were said to be furious about it.
Thomas and Berger were both left out of the final foursomes but they decided to go to the first tee instead to get the crowds going. This is because European fans are not allowed to travel to America.
Stricker dismissed the idea as high jinks and stated that his players had every right to let their steam out for a whole day before playing in singles.

The captain of the US stated that he didn't see it but was told by someone. It looked like they were having a great time and enjoying the experience.
"We are ridiculed for being too tight, but then we do something similar where it looks like our entire team is having a great time and trying to fit in with the crowd.
It was amazing. It's a Milwaukee Bucks tradition. If I remember correctly, I have seen "Chug a Beer", on the JumboTron at Milwaukee Bucks games. It's a Wisconsin tradition.
It just seems like they're having a great time. That's why I knew that I would have to answer the question. They went to the first tee, and I'm okay with that.
They had fun with it. It was a great time for my guys and their fans.
