PAIGE SPIRANAC has revealed her outfit choice that left her fans the most “upset” – and the reaction convinced her to wear what she wants these days.

The former golfer, 30, paved the way for influencers after retiring from the game and gained four million Instagram followers through her regular posts and videos.

Paige often leaves left many of her fans in awe with her outfit choices on the golf course.

And just this week wowed them again with her clothing as she attempted to get a hole-in-one.

But Paige has now revealed how she resorted to wearing turtlenecks to cover herself up after receiving hateful comments while she was still a pro.

“I wanted to be taken seriously as a professional golfer and no matter what I did, no matter what I posted, I would get hate,” she told Haley and Hanna Cavinder’s “Twin Talk” podcast.

“There was one time where I wore a full turtleneck [and] leggings. I was completely covered from head to toe, and people were upset with my outfit.

“When that happened, I just said, ‘OK, well I’m just going to do what I want to do, and I’m going wear what I want to wear and if people like it, great and if they dislike it, OK great.’”

In the wake of Paige‘s success, she has been followed by the likes of Grace Charis, Waiyi Chan, Nicole Gerome and Lauren Pacheco in the golf influencer space.

But Paige blasted hypocritical influencers this summer who slammed her for “oversexualising” then “did the exact same thing” themselves.

And during her latest outing, she said: “I was like, ‘OK, clearly no matter what I wear or what I do people are going to be upset about it so I might as well wear what I want and live the life that I want to live.

“That’s why you can’t control what other people say or the judgement that they have because they see a small little portion of your life.”

Paige then added: “There are also days where I will leave the house and wear sweats and my hair is up and I’m wearing no makeup.

“There are different facets of my personality, which I can’t always show on social media, and so I try to not take it so personal when somebody comes at me in a very negative way when they don’t know me.”
