LIV Golf files bombshell lawsuit accusing Tiger Woods of attacking 'younger players' and doing PGA Tour's bidding.

LIV GOLF sensationally accused the PGA Tour, using Tiger Woods to "publicly critique" players who have joined the controversial tour.

Woods, a 15-time Major winner, rejected a staggering PSD655MILLION offer to join the Saudi-funded breakaway organization.

Tiger Woods was accused of attacking "younger golfers," for signing up to LIV Golf

Phil Mickelson was one of 11 players who sued the PGA Tour

Woods stated publicly last month that he did not agree with the idea.

Now, the PGA Tour has been accused of getting Woods (46) to "do its bidding" and slamming LIV Golf members.

Cameron Smith, Open Champion, is the latest member of the group according to a deal worth PS83m.

LIV claims that Woods criticized "particularly younger golfers for their decision to join" the tour, according to MailOnline.

After being banned from competing, 11 LIV players filed an Antitrust Lawsuit against the PGA Tour in the States on August 3.

Carlos Ortiz, a Mexican golfer, later resigned from the accusations of Phil Mickelson, Bryson de Chambeau and Ian Poulter.

After being suspended from PGA Tour, they claim that they were punished for joining LIV series.

The lawsuit stated that Tiger Woods was also a part of the Tour's litigation. It publicly criticised golfers, particularly younger ones, for joining LIV Golf, suggesting that they would not play in The Masters, The Open or other Majors, and would not earn OWGR Points.

It stated that Woods' words "echoed earlier evidence indicating the Tour was continuing pressure on the Majors to join its unlawful group boycott to exclude LIV golf and punish all players who participated in any LIV events."

Woods stated last month that he disagreed with players who went to LIV. He said, "I think they have turned their backs on what allowed to them to get to this point." Many players have never even had the chance to play on one of these tours.

They have been promoted from amateur to professional and never had the chance to experience what it's like to be a part of a big event or to play on a schedule.

"Some of these players might never get the chance to play at major championships. It is possible. This is a possibility they will never have the chance to enjoy. Take a stroll down Augusta National's fairways.

"I don’t get it. I don't understand what these players do for guaranteed money. What is the incentive to put your practice into action? What incentive is there to get it in the dirt?

Woods stated that he does not see LIV Golf as a positive for golf in the long-term.

He said, "You're just getting paid a lot up front and playing in a few events and 54 holes."

"They are blasting music. I understand 54 holes of the Senior Tour. The older guys are a bit more beaten up. 72-hole test are part of the game when you're young. 36-hole play-offs were once part of majors.

"I don't think this is a long-term positive. It would be tragic for some of these children to never have the opportunity to visit these historic grounds and to play in these majors.

LIV also sued the Masters organizers for "doing its bidding" after suggestions that LIV players should be banned from Augusta.

It stated: "Augusta National promoted The Masters and took multiple actions to show its alignment with The PGA Tour. This has sparked doubt among top professional golfers about whether they will be expelled from future Masters Tournaments.

"As an initial matter the links between Augusta National and the PGA Tour run deep.

Augusta National's actions indicate that the PGA Tour used these channels to press Augusta National into doing its bidding.

"For example, representatives from 2022 Augusta National threatened in February to disinvite The Masters players if they joined LIV Golf.
