After Tim Swain, a Republican candidate for the Senate, broke the news on Saturday, golf fans were skeptical about the 45th President's ace.

Swain uploaded a photo of Trump enjoying his alleged shot with PGA Tour royalty Ken Duke and Mike Goodes, Gene Sauers, and Ernie Els.

Fans were skeptical about Trump's history on the course, which led to some doubts.

The tycoon-turned-politician, 75, has now released a lengthy statement in an effort to convince the doubters he made the stunning shot at West Palm Beach.

It said: "Many people have been asking me this question, so I'll answer it now. It is 100% true."

HE DID IT AGAIN

Will Smith's ex-victim of an assault, slams actor for his 'violent temper.

"I hit a 5-iron which flew magnificently into a strong wind with approximately 5 feet cut. It bounced twice, then went clank and into the hole.

"These great tour players saw it before me because their eyes were slightly better but their swings on one hole only weren't.

"The match was Ernie, me (with no strokes), against Gene Mike and Ken.

"I won’t tell you who won, I am very modest and you will say I was bragging. I don’t like braggadocious people!"

"IT IS 100 PERCENT TRUE!"

Trump's Director for Communications Taylor Budowich tried to back up the claims with footage of the former President grabbing the cup from the cup.

The clip is simply captioned "45 picking up his hole in-one on Saturday" and shows Trump walking down the fairway after he hit a 180-yard five-iron'.

Trump beams joyously at the camera as he looks for the ball on the seventh green.

He pointed to the flag and said, "It's here!" That's great. It's awesome, thank you.

"Let's take a picture. You don't see it that often."

Trump then appears to be high-fiving other players as they pose for the photo tweeted by Swain on Sat.

However, despite his best efforts many golf fans were unable to believe that the shot was real until they saw it.

One wrote: "They posted video footage of Trump's hole-in-one at his own tournament this weekend.

"Curiously, the shot is not visible to us."

Trump has been banned from Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. He released this statement via his official site.
