BRYSON DECHAMBEAU is ready to take on Europe's hopes for retaining the Ryder Cup.
According to the USA's powerhouse, Whistling Straits is the perfect place for him to hit monster drives. He has already driven to within 120 yards from the green at the 603-yard fifth fairway.
Bryson DeChambeau plans to power the USA to Ryder Cup glory
American looks forward to the challenge of the 603-yard fifth.
DeChambeau will let his frustrations, triggered by his feuding with Books Koepka and his belief that he receives a cut from media and fans, come out.
He smiled and said, "There are many holes that are super helpful to me hitting driver -- 10, six, five, one or two." It's all there.
"There are many holes where it will be an advantage. As long as I hit it in the fairway, there is a lot. Five is a great example, the 603 yarder they call "the snake" because it doglegs towards flag.
"If there's the right wind, it would be possible to ignore the dogleg and just go straight at the flag by crossing the water down the right. This is so cool.
"We had that wind last week in practice, and I was like 120 yards from that green."
DeChambeau also teased that he and Koepka might end their spat by making fun of themselves on social media.
He stated that he believed there might be something exciting coming up in the future, but he wouldn't go into detail.

"Then, this week, also, I sat down with him last night and had dinner. It was great.
"I'm not trying change anyone's perception. "I'm just trying to show what I can do for golf.
"Whether people like or not, it's their interpretation. Again, for me, it's going to be the best entertainment possible.
Some people might not like it but some people love it. I am now on TikTok and Instagram, but I do it differently to show people who they are.
"It's great when they can see the behind-the scenes of my day.
It opens up the possibility that I am not just a person because of how people view me on the golf course. This is a human being.
"It's not about changing anyone's perception. It's about getting the crowd behind you and allowing us, I suppose, to rile up the crowd to win the Cup.
DeChambeau (28 years old) plans to show his immense power that he has accumulated since he became the 'Incredible Bulk,' by showing off all of the muscle he gained during last year’s golfing lockdown.
Due to his ridiculously long carries of 330 yards, he has been cutting corners on doglegs at Whistling Straits. He believes this gives him an enormous advantage.
The American denied that he had 'wrecked' his hands after additional practice with the driver in preparation for the World Long Drive competition next Wednesday -- despite photos on social media showing his blisters.
He stated that this happened before the FedEx Cup events and that I played well in those. After a six-hole play-off, I lost only one.
"Leading up to this event, my full focus has been on this week -- and I believe part of the reason I hit it so far is due to that extra practice with driver a few weeks ago.
"My long hitting is a major reason I'm so successful."
"And I knew that I could come here to use my length on the golf course to my potential advantage."
