Bryson DeChambeau offered PS100MILLION as the poster boy for new Super Golf League despite threats of a LIFETIME PGA Tour ban

According to reports, BRYSON DECHAMBEAU was offered PS100million to join the Saudi-backed Super Golf League.

According to some reports, the SGL is targeting the 28-year old as a poster boy.

After being offered by the Saudi-backed venture, a number of golfers were forced to sign nondisclosure agreements.

Every player who signs up could get LIFETIME BAN from both the PGA Tour or the DP World Tour as well as the Ryder Cup.

According to Mail, DeChambeau was a star in his prime and could attract interest.

He is just one of many top-flight players who have traveled to Jeddah for this week's Saudi international.

There are 21 of the top 50 world leaders in town and it is well known that there have been many meetings over potential contracts.

Participants have been forced to keep their distance due to the non-disclosure agreements.

Ian Poulter reportedly got a PS22m offer from the SGL to sign up.

Dustin Johnson answered the question, "Obviously whether or not they have, I'm prohibited from disclosing." That one would be up to Ian.

Lee Westwood (48) is a strong candidate to join up. He claimed last year that it would be a "no brainer" to accept a large-money offer at this stage in his career.

He also didn't reveal much when he was quizzed about the subject.

He stated that he didn't know if he wanted to answer any questions about it. I have signed an NDA.

Phil Mickelson said: "Pretty much all the players in the top 100 of the world have been contacted."

According to some reports, the SGL has a staggering PS1.5bn budget for this venture - which could spell doom for the PGA Tour.

There will be some surprises when the SGL launches.
