Brooks Koepka, RYDER CUP's star, has shared how Jena Sims, his fiancee helped him to calm down and transform his life.

American 31-year old Will compete in his third Ryder Cup next Week as he tries to repeat USA's win back in 2016.

Koepka has spoken out about his recent changes in how he lives. His four major wins were between 2017 and 2019.

He spoke to Golf Digest and said that he had been at times where Blake [Koepka’s agent] was like, "Bro, you need chill." Jena Sims (Koepka’s fiancee) is the same.

He said, "Mentally I still believe I'm 21." In the last three years, I have come to realize that I am not the young person who can jet ski or wakeboard. It takes me 30 minutes to get out of bed.

You have to make lifestyle changes. Because I couldn't exercise as much as I used to, I gained 10-15 pounds. I'm unable to run. I won't be able run again.

"You are parking closer to the door now than ever before, and that's a good thing. I have had to change the way I eat, and how I train. My metabolism was much faster when I was 25 than it is today. I could eat almost anything. So I feel better, I now eat more anti-inflammatory food.

Koepka explained that he quit drinking in college to concentrate on his game. He also shared how he is able to block out any distractions from his golf by avoiding social media.

He continued, "I don’t know where it came from, but I have no problem turning my phone off or shutting off certain people," he said.

"My best friends have a huge group chat and I used to read all of the text messages. After I was done playing, I would have 500 and I'd go through all of them. Now, I say, "No, that's not possible."

"Shoot, I find it easier to hit the road. Only what I care about is good golf. How will I do it? Good sleep, good rest, good eats, good practice, and good exercise. That's all there is to it.
