The American subsequently booted his putter

On his sixth hole of the day, the American launched his tee shot onto the green.

His subsequent shot left him with a seemingly easy five-yard putt.

Amazingly, however, he missed the target from close range.

Following his miss, Kizzire drop kicked his putter in frustration.

The Alabama-native got impressive yardage on his punt, with the putter flying through the air.

Fans were quick to comment on Kizzire’s moment of rage.

One wrote on X: “Unreal hang time on this putter punt.”

While a second joked: “Impressions technique – really nice extension.”

And another added: “Terrible, terrible behaviour.. but I’m so jealous because that would feel sooo good.”

Kizzire went on to withdraw from the event with a bad back.

Having peaked at No.51 in the world back in 2018, Kizzire has struggled for form of late.

He is currently the world No.128.
