Who is Wayne Riley and why is he nicknamed ‘Radar’?

Wayne Riley is a 62-year-old professional golfer from Sydney, Australia.

The Aussie has won twice on the European Tour winning both the Scottish Open (1995) and the Portuguese Open (1996).

Riley reached a career high of 62nd in the world golf rankings.

He played in 11 Major championships (ten Opens and one US Open), with his best finish coming at the 1985 Open Championship finishing tied 33rd.

Since leaving the Tour, he is often seen on Sky Sports Golf as an on-course commentator.

The Aussie has his own YouTube series on PING’s channel called ‘A Round With Radar’ with the likes of Lee Westwood, Louis Oosthuizen and Tyrrell Hatton featuring against the golf icon.

Riley picked up the nickname ‘Radar’ from the character Radar O’Reilly from the TV sitcom M.A.S.H.

According to the 61-year-old’s official page on the European Tour website, he is an avid Chelsea fan.

Who has won the most Masters tournaments?

Legendary American golfer Jack Nicklaus leads the way with six between 1963 and 1986 – the next close being five from Tiger Woods.

The likes of Sam Snead, South African Gary Player, British champ Nick Faldo and Phil Mickleson have all won it three times each.

And the ones to win it twice include Tom Watson, the much missed Seve Ballesteros, Bernhard Langer, Jose Maria Olazabal  and Bubba Watson.
