Fans of golf were concerned that Woods would not be attending the Masters because of his injury.
The American idol, however, put all doubts to rest when he declared that he WILLtake part in the major event.
But, questions remained about his footwear choices for the course. He was forced to explain that the switch was made for comfort.
Tiger said: "I have very limited mobility right now.
"Just like the rods, plates, and screws that are in mine leg, I needed something else, something that would allow me to be more stable.
"Nike has been a great partner over the years, providing me with equipment and work. We have worked together - we've been trying to find something that will allow me to swing again.
"We will continue to do it, and hopefully we'll get something soon again."
