Tyrrell Hatton leaves a press conference after telling a reporter to "f*** off", leaving journalists in stitches

TYRRELL HATTON has walked out of his Ryder Cup press conference after telling a reporter to “f*** off” – leaving the other journalists in stitches.

The Team Europe star hilariously joked around with a reporter after questions about his foul-mouthed tendencies.

Tyrrell Hatton jokingly told a reporter to “f*** off” during his press conference

The hilarious joke saw him get up and leave afterwards

Speaking in Rome ahead of the Ryder Cup teeing off on Friday, he was asked about his teammate Jon Rahm’s propensity to swear on the course.

Both Hatton and the Spaniard are known for their relatable reactions to bad shots that often end in them being caught dropping a few expletives on the fairways.

Hatton had questioned why Rahm swears in English rather than in his native tongue suggesting he may get away with it more if he did it in Spanish.

Before being probed by a reporter about whether or not he knew any foul language in Spanish and could adopt the same tactic.

The Englishman said: “I think I’d do it a pretty poor attempt if I tried. I don’t want to embarrass myself or upset Jon in front of him.

“But I’d probably win in a swear-off between me and him. I’ve got everyone covered.

“Any time of day, anywhere, no holding back. Doesn’t matter what we’re doing, I’m swearing.”

Jon Rahm, like Hatton, is known to vent his frustration on the course with ex-rated rants

In a cheeky attempt to spark a “swear-off” during the interviews, a reporter offered up the chance to go toe-to-toe right there and then.

He said: “What about now?”

But Hatton’s quick wit shut down any competition as he simply replied: “F*** off”.

The press room were left in hysterics as the foul-mouthed exchange turned out to be the last question of the interview and Hatton stood up as he was relieved of his media duties.

Hatton will be teeing off on Friday as Team Europe look to reclaim the trophy off Team USA following their mauling in 2021.

The Europeans will be led by captain Luke Donald and have a star studded team featuring the likes of Rory McIlroy, Rahm, Victor Hovland and Shane Lowry.
