He was forced to withdraw from the tournament in the third round due to injury.

Woods then had surgery on his ankle to fix post-traumatic arthritis following his 2021 car accident.

The golf legend suffered severe injuries to his right leg in the crash.

He initially feared that he would never walk again, but following a period of intense rehab he returned to the golf course last year.

His life-changing injuries have since impacted his career.

But fans were sent into a frenzy when they saw that Woods had returned on Saturday.

The 15-time major champion was filmed practising his swing at Pebble Beach.

In the video, which has been shared on social media, Woods can be seen hitting a wedge shot to a par-3 hole.
