TIGERWOODS continues to recover from the injuries sustained in a car accident that left him with a broken leg and is determined to return to the course.
This is according to Steve Stricker, his friend and captain of the USA for the Ryder Cup.
Woods is currently recovering from the horrific crash that occurred earlier in the year
In California, the golfer caused serious injury when he rolled his car.Woods, 45 years old, was involved in a serious car accident in February. He sustained serious injuries.
The 15-time major winner broke bones and sustained a compound fracture.
Stricker says he is ready to play again after undergoing surgery.
TMZ reported that the Ryder Cup captain said: "I've spoken to Tiger a lot."
He's part of the Ryder Cup family. Because of his ongoing rehabilitation to improve and to learn golf again, he won't be allowed to serve as a captain's aid this year.
"[Tiger] is making progress. "He's doing well. Things are moving in the right directions."

Stricker claims Woods was involved in preparations for the Ryder Cup which will be held in Whistling Straits in Haven, Wisconsin, on September 24.
Later, he added: "He is very passionate about [the Ryder Cup]. There have been many talks."
Woods made a remarkable comeback at The Masters in 2019, when he won his 11th major.
He'll be looking to repeat the feat as he is still three majors away from Jack Nicklaus' 18-year-old record.
Stricker hopes to lead the USA to Ryder Cup glory, as they attempt to reclaim their 2018 trophy.
Three years ago, Europe beat the USA by 17.5 points to 10.5 at Le Golf National de Ile-de-France.
