This was Tiger's first competition golf match since his near fatal car accident in February 2021 that left him with severe leg injuries.

He showed glimpses of his old genius and continued his proud record of making it to the top at every Masters he has entered.

Private equity investor Todd Brock put up clubs used by Tiger during his amazing Major winning streak of 2000 and 2001.

According to reports, he had purchased them from Steve Mata, vice president of Titleist, in 2010 at an auction for $57.242.

Mata submitted a polygraph to prove the Titleist 681T irons were genuine. Brock also looked into the archives to match the set.

ESPN's Brock said that he has owned the shoes for 12 years and has never told anyone about it.

"They were in a very nice frame in my office, and I'm no investor in memorabilia so nobody was looking at the irons.

"I have had the chance to see these for 12+ years. It's almost like a Rembrandt. Someone takes it to their castle, and it's never been seen again.

"I felt blessed to have been able to spend time with them and to look at them. But it's now that someone else can do something better and more meaningful with them."

These clubs were used by Woods during his incredible Tiger Slam. He won the US Open, British Open, and PGA Championship in 2000. Then he followed it up with 2001 Masters.

These items sold at Golden Age Auctions for $5,156,162, breaking the previous record of $682,000 set by Horton Smith's green jacket (which was $6822,000)

Woods finished his Masters comeback at +13 and placed 47th.

He already confirmed that he would play in the British Open at St Andrews this year, which begins on July 14.
