The European fans are enthralled by the awkward video that is shown on the big screen during Team USA's practice at Ryder Cup.

THE RYDER CUP is always a fierce competition and it would seem that Team Europe are already getting some hits in on their American opponents.

The European fans have been loving a not so sly dig that took place on the big screens whilst Team USA were on the driving range preparing for this weekend’s action.

Team USA were made to train on the driving rnage in front of an awkward video of them losing the Ryder Cup in 2018

According to Eamon Lynch, the event organisers out in Rome played a video of the 2018 Ryder Cup highlights whilst Team USA were practicing on the range.

It was 2018 when Team Europe demolished their US competitors 17.5-10.5 in France.

And the clip will have occupied the minds of Brooks Koepka, Justin Thomas, Jordan Spieth and Rickie Fowler who were all on the losing side five years ago in Guyancourt.

It may have motivated others who will be looking for anything to fuel the competitive fire before the tournament tees off on Friday.

However European fans were absolutely loving the early mind games with many sharing their thoughts on social media.

One wrote: “I don’t like it… I love it.”

Whilst another added: “When it comes to banter, the U.S don’t stand a chance.”

Although some US fans chimed in saying that the tactics could come back to bite Team Europe come Sunday.

The Americans will be full of confidence after their 2021 demolition job at Whistling Straits.

A record 19-9 victory sank the Europeans in Wisconsin, but Europe will fancy their chances of snatching the trophy back on home soil with history on their side.

Team USA are without a win in Europe in 30 years with their last victory away from the States coming in 1993 at The Belfry.
