And the golfer ranked 354 in the world has the winning touch having caddied for his partner Harry five weeks ago when she won her first ever professional tournament.
Olesen, 26, is embarking on his first season on the DP World Tour but took two weeks off in June to carry the bag for his other half.
And 22-year-old Darcey went on to record her maiden win at the Hulencourt Women’s Open, finishing three shots clear in Belgium.
After lifting the trophy, she said of Olesen: “He was very good, so he’s not going to be allowed to go back to playing now.”
Olesen explains he was only too happy to help out when she was without a bagman for the week.
He said: “She’d just said goodbye to her caddie so needed a different one and asked if I wanted to help her out and I was happy to do that.”
Olesen is not just a pro golfer and a part-time caddie, he is also a former greenkeeper.
He worked worked as a seasonal greenkeeper at Royal Copenhagen before heading out to play college golf in the States five years ago.

Shock leader Olesen was disarmingly honest about his own form coming into The Open.
He said: “I wouldn’t say it was in the cards. I’ve been driving it well, but my approach game has been quite awful to say the least.”

Olesen showed his prowess as a links golfer by becoming the first Dean to win the highly prestigious Amateur Championship last year, about 40 miles down the coast at Ballyliffin.
He turned pro shortly after making his Open debut at Troon last year where he finished 60th, giving up automatic spots at this year’s Masters and US Open.
Denmark is proving a terrific breeding ground for young talent, with the Hojgaard twins, Nicolai and Rasmus leading the way.
Olesen’s namesake, Thobjorn, and the in-form Kristoffer Reitan are other Danish players who have made a big impact recently.
