Garcia named Seve Balesteros one of his heroes.

Five-time major champion, Garcia was an inspiration to Garcia as a young golfer.

And Garcia said to GolfTV, "Number one is Seve because he was one of my idols."

"I loved his style of play, his charisma, his ability to get out of trouble, and the creativity he displayed with the shots that he was able hit.

Garcia and Woods were friends in their youth, but they haven't always been as good friends. Some even called their relationship poisonous in recent years.

The 41-year old was happy to identify his fellow Masters champion at No.2 as he continues his rehabilitation from a horror car crash.

He stated, "We all know how great Tiger is. He was at his best when he drove the ball well and hit his irons as hard as he could.

"He was extremely precise with his chipping, and putting when he needed. That was really impressive."

Garcia finished his top five with two Ryder Cup team members and an American in-form.

The 2017 Green Jacket winner named World No.1 Jon Rahm the fifth-best player he had ever played with, before nominating Dustin Johnson at No.4.

Rory McIlroy was awarded No.3, as he was his partner in two European Ryder Cup victories.
