Fans suggested Smith was preparing for the Green Jacket

He wore a usual golf shirt along with a navy suit, with matching trousers and jacket.

Smith, 31, accessorised his look with a customary cap – something he is rarely seen without on course.

The 2022 Open winner looked very smart on the green as he tested out his swing, and he sparked a discussion on social media as fans speculated about his outfit.

One fan reacted saying: “Getting prepared for the green one! Go Cam.”

Another added: “Is he getting ready for the green jacket?”

A third wrote: “Pure class.”

And another commented: “Manifesting.”

Meanwhile another Masters star, Jason Day, toned down his outfit choice out of fear he would break course rules.

The former PGA Championship winner caught the eye of fans and officials alike with his attire in 2024 but drew criticism for how he dressed.

Day, 37, was seen in a bold Malbon Golf sweater which featured large black and red writing.

He also wore very baggy slacks on the course at the Augusta National.

But Day revealed he was asked to “tone down” by bosses for 2025.
