As he left the broadcasting friends Jim Nantz, Ian Baker Finch, and Frank Nobilo, Faldo was overcome with emotion.

Six-time major champion, he joined CBS's golf team in 2006. He later met "three brothers".

Nantz, 63 years old, exclaimed: "You have been the best in the whole world twice and that is amazing, my friend."

"You did it with humor, humility, and humanity. You were a broadcaster, so it's safe to say that you commanded a sea.

"May the sands be kind to you, my friend."

A tearful Faldo responded, "Thanks to the crew."

"As I affectionately refer to you as the workers, they put out the pictures, we do all the rattling. It's not an easy job. Thank you all.

"I was in an Irish boat and they called me and asked me, 'How would it be to sit next to Jim?' I fell out of the boat.

"That was 2006, here we are 16 Years later."

He also stated that he was a single child. At 65, I have three brothers. We are grateful.

Faldo and his fourth wife Lindsay have now moved to Montana, USA to renovate a farm.

They were married in 2020. Faldo is looking forward to spending more quality time with his wife and their three dogs.

He will also be spending more time on Faldo Design, which assists in the creation of new golf courses.

Trevor Immelman will replace the British legend on CBS.
