GOLF will start a new era with the debut event in the controversial Saudi-backed LIV series.
The 48-player tournament will be held at the Centurion Club in London, over three days (Thursday through Saturday).
Phil Mickelson has signed up for the LIV Golf Series
Dustin Johnson will also be playing in this event in London.
Signing up for the PGA Tour was met with threats of bans, fines, and suspensions.
Dustin Johnson, a two-time major champion, leads the field in the first eight events of the year. Each event will have a minimum $20m prize pool.
This is where you can watch this week's action, as well as all of the field and format information.
Who will be playing in London this week?
Monday night's organisers confirmed the 48-player field. It includes 27 of the best 150 golfers in the world.

During the event, there will be both an individual and a team event.
The player with the lowest 54-hole score will be declared the individual winner.
The team event will be judged on the basis of the two best scores in the first two rounds.
The third and final round will be decided by the top three scores. The lowest team score after 54 holes will win.
What can I do to watch it?
The event will also be streamed live via LIVGolf.com, YouTube, and Facebook.
The coverage will start at 9am ET on Thursday and 2pm in the UK.
