JOHN DALY'S outrageous appearance on Day One of the PGA Championship got golf fans talking.

56-year-old Shaun Micheel, Y.E Yang and the 1991 champion teed off at Southern Hills for their first round.

He made a great start by making three birdies on the first nine to get himself into contention.

Golf fans were not just impressed by his strokeplay, as Daly also rolled back the years.

His shaggy grey hair and mop shined in the Tulsa sunshine, while Daly wore a Masters green style tee.

He paired it up with floral slacks in a relaxed fit, which strangely included SKULLS.

The two-time Major winner was bold in making this statement. He is well-known for his extravagant attires and has been married four more times.

Daly was relaxed and calm during practice at the range. He smoked a cigarette as he hit the fairway with his golf clubs.

Between May 19 and 22, the USPGA Championship will be held at Southern Hills, Tulsa.
