JENA SIMS gave a leg-up to the USA team – as they warmed up for one of the steepest tests in sports by tackling the daunting Spanish Steps.

Brooks Koepka‘s wife and her fellow wags from across the pond are in sunny Rome for the Ryder Cup, starting on Friday.

And Jena showed off her legs in a white dress when she descended the famous steps.

The slope takes you down from the Trinita dei Monti church to the Piazza di Spagna – a picturesque town square.

But the Americans face an uphill fight against history – as Europe have not lost at home in the Ryder Cup for 30 years.

Maybe that’s one reason Northern Ireland star Rory McIlroy wore a huge smile as he led wife Erica Stroll‘s hand at the base of the steps.

Meanwhile, knowing the battle ahead, American model Jena posted a shot in another dress and added the gladiatorial caption: ROMAN EMPIRE.

The partners of the USA golfers also took group snaps as they enjoyed Rome’s many touristy treats.

In contrast, Irishman Shane Lowry‘s wife Kate switched to the RIDING CUP as she joined two European wags.

She posted a pic alongside Tommy Fleetwood’s wife Clare and Justin Rose’s spouse – with all three in helmets, seemingly ready to take to two wheels.  

And 2019 Open champ Lowry was in equally-jovial mood – albeit on the practice greens.

He whipped on a mask of English star Tyrrell Hatton – after spotting a fan with it.

Now the whole Europe team will come together at the Marco Simone club – attempting to dethrone holders and slight favourites the USA.
