TIGER WOODS will make doubters forget their doubts at The Open this week.
Justin Thomas rejected Sir Nick Faldo’s claim that Woods cannot overcome his injuries to win the Claret Jug a fourth time.
Justin Thomas revealed that he wouldn't be surprised if Tiger Woods challenged him for the Claret Jug.
Faldo suggested that Woods might make his final competitive appearance before retiring to St Andrews.
Thomas, the USPGA champion, had other ideas after walking 36 holes at the Old Course with Woods in 18 hours.
He stated, "His swing still looks just as good as ever."
"So, would I be surprised if this guy challenged for the title once again?" Not for a second.
"I have learned more than to doubt anything about him.
Woods and Thomas surprised everyone at St Andrews on Saturday night at 8:15pm.
They played all 18 holes, chipping, putting, and occasionally hitting a wedge shot.
They returned to the course early yesterday morning and played all 18 holes.

Woods, 46 years old, still walks with a noticeable limp from the February 2021 car accident that nearly cost him his right leg.
However, he was able to make good shots.
He missed his approach shot at the seventh for a tap in birdie and then almost holing his short eighth tee shot.
He saved the best for last. He drove 340 yards down the 17th, which was a dangerous stretch. After tugging his second shot into Road Hole Bunker, he jumped out to six inches.
He was rewarded with a powerful roar, but the joy that he brought to the green at the 356-yard 18th, which left a 20-footer for the eagle, was more impressive.
Woods' putt came up just a few inches short of the hole, but he broke into a huge grin as a spectator shouted: "We'll take that one, Tiger."
Thomas acknowledged that he spent the majority of 36 holes trying to gain the inside track from St Andrews' playing partner. He broke the Open scoring record at 19 Under Par when he won the tournament by eight shots in 2000.
Five years later, he won again.
JT stated: "I have been listening to his thoughts, even though I know he will withhold some information.
"I'm trying my best to get the most out of him, since he's done quite well around this area.
This assessment was contrary to Faldo’s pessimistic view about Woods' prospects based on last week's JP MacManus Pro-Am at Adare Manor.
Faldo stated that he doesn't believe there is a chance of him winning again. To rest his leg, he used Adare Manor's cart.
"Even though St Andrews appears flat, there are so much undulations it's going be really difficult for him.
"If you are going to retire, this is the right place -- but is it too soon?"
