TIGER Woods has reached billionaire status thanks in large part to his lucrative endorsement deals.
But the golf legend is reportedly on the hunt for a new principal sponsor amid claims he is breaking up with Nike after almost three decades.

Next week’s PNC Championship will be the last time that Woods will wear the famous Nike swoosh on his jersey, according to the No Laying Up podcast.
The mooted switch comes amid rumors that Nike is shutting down its golf division, a move that would affect other brand ambassadors such as Rory McIlroy.
Woods has made approximately $500 million from Nike after he signed with the sportswear company when he turned pro in 1996.
But the 47-year-old has stepped away from the iconic company in recent years.
After Nike stopped manufacturing golf equipment in 2016 – including clubs, balls and bags – Woods turned to TaylorMade clubs.
Meanwhile, Woods has worn FootJoy shoes since the 2022 Masters tournament after his recovery from a devastating car crash, rather than his own line of TW-branded Nikes.
“I have very limited mobility now,” Woods explained about his use of FootJoys.
“Just with the rods and plates and screws that are in my leg, I needed something different, something that allowed me to be more stable.
“That’s what I’ve gone to.”
All eyes are now on which sportswear company the 15-time major champion will turn to as he continues his recovery, with plans to compete in one tournament a month in 2024.
The rumored move is all the more noteworthy as Nike was one of the few companies which stuck with Woods after his sex scandal in 2009.
That year Woods lost AT&T, Accenture and Gillette as sponsors following allegations of marital infidelity, costing him around $20 million a year.
Meanwhile, luxury watchmaker TagHeuer downscaled its use of Woods in its advertising, while EA Sports ended its deal in 2013.
Since the scandal, Woods has maintained his immense earning potential with deals with Monster Energy, MusclePharm, Fuse Science, Rolex, Bridgestone, 2K Sports, Hero Motocorp, and Upper Deck.
Woods also has a number of other projects such as golf design firm TGR Design, event company TGR Live and investment firm TGR Ventures.
He is also a partner of McIlroy in TMRW Sports – which runs the TGL golf league – golf entertainment venture Popstroke, and T-Squared Social alongside Justin Timberlake.
Woods is also an investor in real estate company Nexus Luxury Collection and 8AM Golf.
