FOOTAGE was created when Nick Faldo was accidentally hit by a golf ball by Kirsty Gallacher.

Sky Sports News' former presenter was captured teeing off, but she actually missed the ball with her powerful swing.

Unfortunately for Faldo, Gallacher hit the ball with her backswing and struck the golfer in the shin.

Gallacher, embarrassed, immediately apologized and ran to Faldo's aid. Faldo instead tried to get rid of the pain.

He can be heard saying, "Got that one in file." It will be fine on the night, and so will mine!

Gallacher let out a embarrassed laugh, before Faldo hugged her. It seems that the incident still haunts him.

Faldo shared this clip via Twitter, along with the words: "I had bruises/bumps for three months!" Thank you, Kirsty Galacher

Gallacher replied with the tweet: "Oh sorry Nick !!!! I felt horrendous

Gallacher is a golfer, her father Bernard being the youngest golfer to participate in the Ryder Cup.

Cousin Stephen Gallacher, a golfer, also achieved a career high of 31.

Gallacher, despite being in excellent shape, seems to lack such hand-eye coordination.
