GOLF'S new world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler broke Tiger Woods' 25 year-old record by breaking the World Match Play Championship.
The new No1 golfer insists that he will not feel any extra pressure when he plays at the Masters next week.
Scottie Scheffler went from his first PGA win to the title of world No1 in record 42 days
Scheffler beat Tiger Woods' record by an amazing 210 days
Scheffler, 25, established himself as the hottest golfer by winning three of his last five starts and winning the WMPC.
He defeated 2019 champion Kevin Kisner by 3 and 2 in the final to end Jon Rahm's 36 week reign at the top.
Scheffler was world No1 in just 42 days, his leap from winning his first PGA Tour event to his victory at the final one took only 42 days.
This is 210 days faster than Woods, the legendary golfer who held the record for 252 days in 1997 when he won the world's first major.
It also beat David Duval, now third place, who achieved the feat in 532 days.
Scheffler insists it won't matter how he approaches Augusta – just like he didn't allow the accusations that he was a bottler' for failing to close the deal during his first 70 starts on PGA Tour.
He was asked a lot of questions, including "When is your first win?"
Scheffler smiled after he beat Dustin Johnson in the semi-finals and defeated match-play specialist Kisner with no loss.

"Maybe your expectations of me have changed, but I don’t expect too much from myself.
"I enjoy being out there and competing. It's a privilege to be able to do this, and I look forward the chance to continue it for as many years as possible.
"But, to be completely honest, my head is spinning right now. These past few months have been crazy.
"I won my first Phoenix win, then I think this is my second now and I don't know what to do with the emotion.
"I have always dreamed of winning this tournament since being defeated by Billy Horschel in the final last year.
"It left a bad taste in my mouth, getting so close to the finish line and then coming up short. It felt great to complete the job this time.
Scheffler is the sixth player at the top of the world rankings for players aged 25 and younger.
Only Jordan Spieth and Woods have been able to complete the feat in less time as professionals.
However, the bookies think he may be overpriced.
Scheffler, who is just outside the top 20 on his previous Augusta visits, has 16-1. Rahm, the 9-1 favorite, has been installed as the favourite.
