COLLIN MORIKAWA’S caddie made history with an incredible hole-in-one at the Players Championship.
The PGA Tour‘s biggest event gets underway at Sawgrass in Florida today.

Collin Morikawa’s caddie JJ Jakovac hits a hole-in-one on the 17th

Jakovac won the caddie competition at Sawgrass

He caddies for world No4 and two-time major champ Colin Morikawa
There is a tradition at the event which sees caddies play closest-to-the-pin on the iconic par-three 17th.
And for the first time in 26 years, a caddie hit the perfect shot on the hole.
JJ Jakovac, who is the bag carrier for two-time major winner Morikawa, sparked wild scenes yesterday.
The world No4’s caddie landed a stunning hole-in-one from 131 yards with a pitching wedge.
Jakovac’s big moment was caught on video by Morikawa and the caddie was mobbed by his competitors.
Golfer Isaiah Salinda shouted at the camera: “Are you not entertained?”
Another voice also screamed: “You did it. Are you f***ing kidding me? Holy s***.”
Fans were just as happy, with one commenting: “Does it get better than this?”

To commemorate the feat, Jakovac will get his name added to a plaque in the Sawgrass clubhouse.
The PGA Tour reportedly gives £13,000 to the winning caddie and sponsors Knockaround Sunglasses give £7,750 – with the combined figure set to go to a charity of his choice.
Jakovac may have made his name as a caddie, but he is a talented player, having won titles at college and Korn Ferry level.
