Claire stated to her university website that "My dad played golf all his life, so I grew up with it. But I have never tried it or pursued it."
"In eighth grade, I was told by my mom that I had to play at most one season of high school football.
"So, I played my one-season season that I had prepared all summer and it was really enjoyable.
"I was reluctant to start, but I found that I liked it so much that I continued to pursue it."
