Japanese legend Hideki Matsuyama combined practice and menu-making to create a delicious delight for Thursday's big start.

Hideki Matsuyama became the first Japanese man in 2021 to win a major golfing event. He also contributed an equally impressive contribution to this year's Champions Dinner.

His four-course East Asian feast included A5 Wagyu Beef Rinee, sushi, sashimi, and dashi broth.

It was dubbed the "greatest Masters menu ever" by some.

It was a stark contrast to previous choices, such as Tiger Woods' cheeseburgers or chicken sandwiches after he won his first of five Augusta titles in 1997.
