28-year-old Spiranac waited anxiously to see if her video-making friend had captured her moment. She then raised her arms to celebrate the fact that she had.

The 85-year old South African Player was just as happy as he strolled over to celebrate with the social media star.

Spiranac has already surpassed leading players such as Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, and Dustin Johnson in terms of Instagram followers.

Along with her many tricks shots, glamour poses, and other updates she now has a picture that any golfer would love to see.

At the 148-yard par-3 14th hole, she was dressed in all black and launched a crucial tee shot that stunned her partners.

Player was the first to reach out and hug the American. He seemed shocked but finally yelled, "Oh my god!" I've done it!"

Spiranac looked excitedly at the woman behind the camera, and asked: "Did it get it?" "

"Yea!" was the reply. It was a great success!

Ironically, she began the month by highlighting one of the downs of golf in another tweet, even after such a positive turn.

She wrote: "Nothing makes golf more disgusting than playing snap hooks off of the tee."
