Floridians are not unfamiliar with alligators. The state of Florida is home to approximately 1.25 million of these jurassic snappers.
Members of Tara Golf and Country Club in Bradenton were treated earlier this year to an alligator scurrying along the tee, with a small fish in its mouth.
