Thomas replied, "Before all this is over, Brooks and Bryson should hug in the center of the room."
They are going to hug each other in order to show how strong a team they are.
They had a short hug beside the 18th green, and then patted each other on their backs.
This one was much more pleasant, with both of the players smiling widely.
Koepka was criticised for saying that he found the entire week "a bit odd" before the Ryder Cup began.
He said that no one could doubt his dedication after his singles win over Bernd Wiesberger earned his his second point of week, while frenemy DeChambeau defeated Sergio Garcia 3&2.
He stated, "It's an entirely different group of men. It's much more enjoyable than it was in years past.
It's a close-knit group. Everyone is a little younger, and everyone has known each other for over 15 years. It feels like it.
Jordan Spieth predicted camaraderie would result in another major win in Rome - as well as an era US dominance after the 19-9 Slaughter By the Water.
Spieth stated: "It was a huge stepping stone for the team and the group we have here that have really known one another since grade school."
"It is one thing to win it here, but it is much easier to do so.
It is harder to win there, but if we play as we did this week the score there will be the same in a few years. This is why we are here.
