TIGER WOODS has hinted at retirement as he continues to battle with injuries.

The 46-year-old withdrew from the Hero World Challenge tournament he is hosting due to injury.

And the 15-time Major champion suggested he may not have long left on tour before he quits.

Woods admitted: “The goal is to play the majors and maybe one or two more.

“Physically, that’s all I can do. I don’t have much left in this leg.”

He is currently suffering with plantar fasciitis in his right foot and that same leg was badly hurt in a car crash over a year ago.

Woods opened up saying: “I can hit whatever shot you want, I just can’t walk.

“I’ve had a few setbacks throughout the year, that I was somehow still able to play through. But this one, I just can’t. Only time can heal this one.”

Woods bounced back from nearly having his leg amputated to play at The Masters in April.

He went on to feature in the PGA Championships and The 150th Open but pulled out at Southern Hills after his worst ever score at an event and followed it up by not qualifying for St Andrews.

Despite the legend struggling to walk he has refused to use a golf cart when competing and stressed again that he never would.

The event this week in the Bahamas is one of three dubbed the ‘Tiger Season’.

Woods hopes to play in the latter two and the PNC Championships, where champions form a team with their children. He will be joined by his son Charlie, 13.
