A SPECTATOR has been left covered in blood after being struck by a ball at the Dunhill Championship.
Andrew Summerskill was watching the action at St. Andrews on day two when a shot from Tommy Fleetwood hit him on the head.

Fleetwood later apologised to Summerskill next to the green at St. Andrews
Fellow spectators could be seen comforting Summerskill next to the green after the incident.
He held a white cloth to contain the bleeding after taking Fleetwood’s ball to his head.
Fleetwood himself was also snapped apologising to Summerskill once he realised what had happened.
The 32-year-old is back in action after starring for Team Europe in last weekend’s Ryder Cup triumph at Marco Simone.
Across his four matches in Rome, the Englishman earned Europe four points, winning both his foursomes matches with partner Rory McIlroy.
Fleetwood was then successful in his singles clash with Rickie Fowler on Sunday.
The American conceding a putt to his opponent to hand Europe the Ryder Cup.
It has been a less successful weekend at the Dunhill Championship for Fleetwood, though.
